another thing you can do is force feed it. take it out of the tank put a match under its belly and it will get real hungry because it thinks its going to die and it wants a last meal.

you should try the sinking pellets or get a tank divider and slowly start feeding him the regular pellets, he will learn to eat them mine did. now he a pig with them.

Go to Walmart to the outdoors/sporting goods section....there you will find the canadian nightcrawler....a worm above all others. My bichirs LOVE them, and they are cheap too. If you have a little guy.....you want to cut the worms in managable pieces. Good Luck!
