My Bichir =D

Here's my first poly. Just a common bichir from PetSmart but I must say.....he has me giddy!!!!

(Please ignored the multicolored gravel.....kthankx)

Cool lil guy,

you should change your gravel to a river stone or use sand if you're going to change the gravel

Actually that's my grow-out tank atm. Getting a 55Gal soon that him the CLs and angels are going in to =D Def. going to be a sand bottom with home-made stone caves and massive fake plants since the CLs love to eat plants....

Oh okay, well in that case just leave it as is.

But sounds like an great idea.

I have sand in all my tanks, I love it more than rock

I must say I like sand better but we're all allowed a mistake on our first tank right? haha!

I had some nasty colored gravel on my first tank, but changed it. So there's your pass on this tank

Sweet!!!! Also being such a small guy what besides frozen bloodworms could I feed him to beef him up a bit? Can't find a small size Hikari at Petsmart for him.....

I got the same Bichir at PetSmart too!! They are too cute, mine has me giddy too...
I think mine is a female, she is in a 75 G tank with 2 Blood Parrots, 2 Electric Yellow Labs, 1 Red Devil, and a Chinese Bristlenose Pleco. I feed mine blood worms and at times she will eat cichlid pellets also.
