looks like he swallowed something he shouldn't have. feed him like mad for a couple of days and he should throw it up.
okay thanks very much.. i will try my best.. love this guy.. only one i have.. :(

looks either like to much food or you poor fellow has swallowed a piece of gravel. Sorry, hopefully he/she will be okay.

Thanks i will take a couple pics today and let you know how he is doing.. thanks for all the info.

I say "Food Baby". Sometimes they just stuff their faces just to get your attention lol. But seriously, if you have been feeding him regularly and fed him recently, its probably just a food bulgle.

Mine took about 3 or 4 days to go away. Pay attention to him and observe. If the lump is slowly moving through his body (towards his tail), you're probably in the clear.

I had this happen once and I figured out that he ate both my chinese algae eaters whole. he had bulges that turned out to be the whole fish bodies in his belly. but this seems to be bloat. plus, you would have noticed if tankmates were missing

He is still eating.. i hate the thought of feeding him if he is already bloated..perhaps i should fast him a day or two... but if it is gravel piece than he is better off eating.. :nilly: i don't know what is the right thing to do..

Doesn't look like bloat. Looks like a food lump. A lump of food. A large gathering of what he has eaten.

From the pics, it loks like it is moving down his body (towards his tail).

I say let him be for a few days and it will dissapear. Withhold food if you like. That way you can let him digest what's already in there.

ya i think mostly he swallow a gravel
