I have had him 3 months now he grew out in a 15 gallon community tank and enjoyed many a zebra danio and small pleco he probably ate about 6 community fish now he is housed in this tank (Just him and 3 giant danio's until its completely stable then I add the real fish (The bichir will stay)

thanks bro ! whether its a he or a she it is the coolest fish I have ever owned. And I have had reef tanks and aggresive saltwater tanks etc . This fish will grab the silversides out of my hand.
 
Wow you weren't kidding when you said you were on it! haha I like the video bro, your sen is turning out to be a silverside destroyer! I can't believe how fast he ate that thing haha

LOL Thanks bro Sorry about the bad quality. Yeah He always grabs these things right away I think because of their scent. Sens love smelly food. Its funny he's all sausagey from overeating and :chillpill: chillin out on the heater.
 
haha yeah that is the nature of the bichir, they tend to eat and chill :D

Young bichirs love hanging out on anything that keeps them close to the surface. If you let one of those plants float in the tank, he would appreciate it by making it his favorite spot to hang.
