HI, I really need some help,
My Bichir body has been bent for three days. During this time she has not eaten, I use purified water with reverse osmosis filter and she is fed by the beef heart and shrimp.
she has difficulty swimming because she cannot straighten her body.
Does anyone know what her problem is?

Possibly something frightened the Endli and it either jumped into the top lid or into side aquarium glass.

Anyone think the problem may be due to purified water w/ RO filter or diet? Just asking.

It’s has been seen in poor diets but more of twisting of the spine. Missed the beef heart and shrimp diet. Vancouver_98683 Vancouver_98683 had a similar prob that corrected.

What is best diet now?
I've just added multivitamin to the aquarium water.
How did Vancouver_98683 Vancouver_98683 's bichir problem solve?

Tbh you will have to wait it out and hopefully it's not severe.

+1

it’s likely due to injury If it happened suddenly. Net this endli out for a minute or two. To see it will naturally wiggle side to side in an attempt to escape. might just have to wait it out to see if the bent spine improves.
