Wolves aren't very good dogs for the most part. You have to show dominance from a young age. So they know your the leader not them, mainly so they won't buffalo you around and do what they want. And they need to get out and run a lot.

But with that being said you did a very good job raising yours and he looks like a fun loving pup!

P.S. Nice to see someone else from O-H-I-O!

At a sale by my house like 1 hr away. They sell foxes, ground hogs, and skunks.

I think I have been to mount hope before too its, where we sold our Mare a while back, is that where you got the wolf?

Ohio has real loose exotic animal laws which makes it easy to acquire one. That's way there are so many exotic animal pet attacks in the state. They just recently passed some stricter laws this year. There is always some irresponsible people that can give anything a bad name.

I agree 100% there should be monitoring on the person to see if there are any abuse or problems.

That just about sums up the keep and care of most large breed dogs.

He is very gentle, and is very loyal. But with any large breed dog it's up to the owner to provide the proper training and discipline. He is always first to show submissiveness over my two huskies.
He definitely isn't for everyone. The first two years was strict training and discipline to turn him into the baby he is. I think it helps that my two huskies are very well behaved and show good habits.

Well you did a great job with your discipline! I want to own a wolf someday there my favorite wild animal!

Although this is really cool, I dont agree with it. This is not a dog. Its a WOLF. Im not bashing you, just the other people who try buying wolves and other hybrids just because it sounds cool. I compare this to owning a lion or tiger in a way. As they are both wild animals with the ability and instinct to kill. They really dont make good pets at all. As they love being dirty and smelly. And are extremley aggressive if not trained properly. I hope this dosent become more of a trend than it already is. Because if we thought a random pitbull on the loose attacking people was bad.. A random wolf would be 10x worse.
