Excellant fish, got my daughter 3 fantails for her 4ft, she was 7 pounds at birth. thats got to be a big fantail.

If a 9" goldfish weighed 7 pounds, the density on such a fish would be extreme. Half a pound to a pound sounds more viable.

well if it makes you guys feel better (atleast the ones who were aurging with me on his weight) gilbert died. My husband cut him open and there was a huge mass, i'm guessing tumor? that alone on the scale weighed 6lbs. i'm so friggin sad! i had him forever! how could i not know?!?!?!
