You will get used to it, i have been wacked countless times in the hand. I count myslef lucky that i have no injuries to my body..image having to lie in a bath tub for 2 hours.

I hope it's not something that I ever get used to. Once is too many times for me. I never want to get hit.

Sorry to hear. Even after all this time of keeping rays, I am still always very careful. Never been hit, never want to.

I have had mine for two weeks now. At first it was getting scared of my metal tong which was bringing it food (fish fillet bits), now it seems to recognize it as the food bringer.

However there are times when I'm feeding and the 30" ID sharks are coming around and stealing the food, that presents a real problem because one day the ray might just try to show the ID sharks who's boss and I may get in the cross fire.
