My biggest monster... the Amphiuma Salamander

Was cleaning the inside of the salamander tank with a magnet when she started to chase the magnet and bite it.... so i grabbed my camera and played with her for a while



Then i gave her some food with my left hand, while holding the camera with my right, all while watching that i dont lose a finger so dont laugh at me for getting a little spooked when she jumped up

30"+.. around 80cm

note that i fed her well yesterday normally she is alot more greedy

max size is around 3feet. This one is almost full grown.

haha yeah i also found it very funny... but this salamander is no joke when it comes to biting, she has been jumping up at the food more then usually

HOLY COW! i want one! =] lol jk man they look just like a kind of lungfish from the first video...lol wow that would be a sight to see a weird looking lungfish jump...(x__X) lol where did you get your? i bet over here in Cali its probably illegal like all the other fishes
