a bottle of vinegar would be enough. rinse it out 5 times, 6 as a precausion. good luc

Vinegar is the best thing to use when cleaning aquariums so just rinse it out a few times and wipe vinegar on the glass.

Well vinegar worked because I have already had fish in my my tank for the past 7 days with no ill effects

I'm cycling with stability and firemouth :]

ha id worry if theres leaks more than that but id just rinse it out or wash it with warm water at least 5 times

the all surface windex and a sponge has worked best for me. CLR and vinegar didnt work all that great for me compared. all fish still alive and after just 2 rinses~

I use fresh limes to clean out tanks I suspect of having left over chemicals

When I got into fish keeping I sprayed a 10 gallon with glass cleaner on the inside. I just did a few rinses and scrubbed it down and the tank is still set up with no problems.

I have used CLR several times without issue. The key is many rinses to be sure the chemicals are gone.
