Wow, have blacks gone up that much in price? I remember when they were like 20 bucks for 3 inchers, though that was a few years ago, haha!
Regaurgless of cost, it's a great looking arowana. Each fish costs however much you're willing to pay for it really. Great catch!

Did you save any bday money to get him any tankmates? Or is he going to be the only fish in your tank?
I don't see that as such a bad price including shipping?He is pretty big too....
my lei was like 4" when I got it and it was $250 including shipping and I got it here from one of our vendors.
I want to go all out on like at least 3 of those and see if my lei will cohab or no.

Thanks guys. Yes delivery was to my door at 10:30 this morning. They said he was only eating goldfish, but as soon as I put pellets int here he was all over them. His currenent tank mates are 3 clown loaches, some yoyo loaches, an 8" inch ornate, a small syno, and an 8" odoe. I left a divider up with the odoe. I have had it down for about 2 hours. So far they are getting along ok. I will probably put it up tonight and do the same thing for the next couple of days.
