My black aro is dying, HELP!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
sorry man.....:(

Thanks for all the advise and sympathy, I can't watch anymore. I hope for the best and see what happens in the morning. Just hope that my peacock bass don't try eating him after he dies.

probably had to do with the krill. I think its the shell theres a sticky about shrimp shells killing aros.

When an arowana swims up and down or struggles to up right etc..

its clear signs that they are dying...

I had two arowana died on me like that.. there is nothing you can do...
IF they even stand up right or head down in the water.. the arow will be gone very soon..

IT sad.. but thats what happens... :(

unfourtunately this is true:(

i had a small black aro do this on me last year and i waited too long after he quit eating to treat him. when an aro stops eating its trouble.also had a rtgg do this on me.

so sorry, its never easy watching an aro die.

the aro is ( was ) sick. It is not the short period without eating that did it.

Sorry for the loss of blackie.

Well I woke up early this morning and he was gone. Really sucks. Now I don't know if I should get another black/silver aro or replace him for another cichla. Problem is finding a cichla that's close to the same size as my other 6"er's. All I ever see is babies.
