That tank is way too narrow...get a much deeper tank so your fish doesn't suffer so much.

$$$$ for excessive filtration/electric bill > $$ for wider tank

Suggestion: try the opposite and your fish will be much better off.

I can't say that I agree that he is suffering. He is in a 150 Gallon Aquarium by himself. The tank is 72x36x48 inch. He doesn't like the light very much which is why he is reacting the way he does. I like the keep the light off of my fish and just see then act naturally. As far as my filtration am happy with it and it's not about the money it's about the fish. My electric bill is fine as well. I have alot of things that makes having fish with ALL the filtration energy efficient. I would just like everyone to know that if I am willing to spend this much money on filtration, I was also willing to spend money to make sure I don't end up with a $1000 electric bill. But thanks for the advice anyway.

Awesome Rhom! No offense but that doesn't look like it's a 72x36x48. Plus I think that dimension is more than a 150 gallon, think more like 300 gallon+? BUT this is just all IMO.

BS that tank is 72x36x 48.... you just said the tank was 6 feet long 3 feet wide and 4 feet tall

take a picture of if with the measuring tape against it and ill believe you

im sorry to say but it needas much wider tank (think 75 gallons) if u noticed very early on in the video the rhom had to brush its tail right up against the glass to avoid bumping its chin on the other side

i think that tank is a 55 gallon at most

i could be wrong mind you but to me it seems like the rhom is as wide as the tank is

measure it and post up some specs and we can tell you what size tank that is

The tank is 6ft long, 2 1/2 feet wide, and 4 ft tall. I turned the light on to take a video for this site and my Black Rhom didn't like it AT ALL.

I not doing sh*t. I don't have anything to prove to a bunch of people I don't know or have not even seen. I thought this was a site where people who enjoy and HAVE fish can show them off and talk about them. Guess I was wrong. It's been more about my electric bill. If you know how much a Rhom REALLY cost. TRUST ME he is not in a 55 Gallon Tank. I am REALLY starting to believe that people on this site don't know what they are talking about. I have posted several pics as well check them out for yourself. My fish is happy. R U?

Then the Rhom is around 20"? Since he is almost to the end of the tank (width wise)...
Beat mine! (My avatar). He is only 16.5"-17.5".

I have a correction. My lady put the measurement on here.(She is getting irritated with the negativity). The correct tank size is 72 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 26 inches tall. My Rhom is about 12 inches long. I have had him for 6 months. He was 10 inches when I got him.
