i recently bought a 12'' blacktip shark and in the store, it would usually go around in circles but once i put it in my newly set up aquarium, it would just stay in one corner then move to another for sometime to just breathe. any ideas on what the problem is? thanks

-water quality compared to fish store
-size of tank
-other fish in the tank
-stress from the move
-not acclimated correctly
lots of things can be wrong. Prob just stress. Give it a few days.

yep. here in the philippines, they actually sell them if it's that hard to believe. haha i'll post pictures soon.
Well considering BlackTip Reef Sharks are RAM Ventilators, if it stops swimming it will die. So how is it that your Shark isnt dead yet?
as Brendon has stated, they need to keep swiming so i really hope you have them in a circular aquarium. Otherwise that may be a problem.. How big is your tank?
