Koji, how is it with the chicken breast and chicken heart and pork? how do you prepare it? Am wiling to try if you teach me...

Basically I'm feeding this silver com with pellets and foodsticks. I will only feed them the chicken breast meat or lean pork if there's any leftover from my other tank feeding.

What I did is I cut the meat into bite size which doesnt require the aro to chew on thus no mess in water, the fish just need to swallow the meat. As for preparation of the meat, what I did is after I cut the meat into bite size pieces, I will flush the meat with water in a container till the water run clear before feeding.

Wow bioload must be high to do water change daily. I wonder how much your water bill is. :"P

Water here in singapore is not as costly as electric billing thus it's not really a big issue. Like you said, the bioload is rather high thus water changing is a MUST.

The fish and the photographs are great. I like the red eye. Older aros are more prone to DE

Thanks. They're still holding these redness in them till today. Hopefully they will retain them further. There's one exception piece which show the most intense colouration and red eyes, hope that piece will look like that forever

So far no DE from what I see in there. And as for where they come from... I dun really know for I got tem from different batches and at different timing....

I got a friend who keep his silvers the way I keep but one of them developed droop eyes.
