Yes but if I do further lines of small cichlids surely down the line they will be the essential size and aggresiveness

Just curious - why not do it in the first place to start with? Save yourself a LOT of time, etc.

Because it seems like a fun and interesting project I at least want to breed the con and jag together.it just seems like a fun project
