Bristlenose don't tolerate salt as well as common plecos so I would go with no more than 1 tsp/1 gal, maybe less, keep an eye on its eyes and nose bristles, if the bristles start to turn pale on the ends, or the eyes start to cloud do an immediate 50% water change without adding more salt. I have not kept many of them and the ones I had stayed healthy so the only salt I used with them was 1 tbsp/5 gal.
 
ok. well, i went out and bought some melafix. and but it in there, now it looks like the slime is comming off, but he looks bruised. his bristle's look fine and his eye's arent cloudy... (of course for me its hard to tell if he's pale he's albino lol) i had thrown him in the hospital tank to treat for ich with my other pleco and my parrot fish... soooo i hope that the salt i put in there doesn't do the same thing to my other pleco.
