I was very proud of him...You have no idea how much I did for that guy. All the time and hard work giving him the perfect life.

All I can say is I gave everything I had in caring for him.

Thx for all the support and thx to all who helped me when I had questions.

This is how the world of cichla keeping goes. Its a dance. They require alot of attention and sometimes even the best care cant stop nature. Sorry for the loss, that is a tuff one.

I decided to post the photo of my dead broko bass showing the blown out intestine.

I'm still a bit bummed about it.

when i purchased my two replacements, i still lost another one. Had every fish in the tank converted to FD Krill. No explanations. I still think the batch had something wrong. I lost 3 of 4, and you lost one.

Sorry for your losses.

I was never really into peacock bass before I saw the Broko ocellaris. Thats a very rare and beautiful fish to have.

I went outside my box when I got my cichla.

My true love of a fish is the male colombian blue umbee which I returned to just recently.

I started raising an F1 male from this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Do26ak9gnDs&feature=related pair.

My little guy is 2.5 inches now and is on his way to looking like dad in the video above.
