Yeah i know. Im not gonna throw him in the outside pond yet cause hes gonna get chummed by some turtles. That would be bad....Maybe when hes gets another foot long i'll put him out. Its a spectacled caiman. I got it a couple months ago. This guy turned it in when he found out how big they got. He said the store he got it from said it wouldnt outgrow his tank and it would only get about 2ft:irked:!!!! Im so sick of hearing that line! I do agree though, that not everyone should get a caiman without first understanding the animals needs and potential size.:headbang2

Im glad you do.......

Dont know where you live but do you think placing it in an outdoor pond is such a good idea either? Especially if it has a chance to escape or maybe hurt a curious onlooker?

i know those misters are cool and crap, but it produces ultra sonic blasts in order for the water to turn to mist, take it out of your tank brother, either that, or if you want to keep it in there, you have to put your hand on the water as it shoots out for 10 minuets and lets see what happens.

that is of cause if it is an ultrasonic bubbler if not, disregard.

i had one of those misters but when ever i put my hand near it i got what felt like a mix of burning and an electric shock . hurt like hell so i took it out
