My catfish ate my aro!

So last night I decided to put my 5.5-6 inch silver aro in my amazon tank. Well he was acting better than he was in the other tank and he seemed to be happy. This morning I woke up and noticed my 6.5 inch rtc/tsn had a bulging belly and the Aro's tail was sticking out of his mouth! I was mortified. Well I went to work, registered my truck, and went out to eat and when I got home I noticed that the Aro's tail was still sticking out of the catfish's mouth. For one I hope the catfish doesnt die and two I'm pissed off. Either way, thats my story. Sorry no pics yet.

ww that must have been heart breaking to see. i once walked into to see a 5" female jack dempsey with my 4" senegal bichirs tail out of her mouth.

sorry man my RTC when he was 6" ate a 9" dragon goby and then when he was 24" a 11" red devil. Make sure every fish you put with your cat is larger than it and will always have a few inches on the cat until its over a foot.

Catfishes gulp anything that can fit their mouth, my buddys redtail ate his pbass and arowanna... Sorry to hear though about yours though, I know its sad.
