Did you ever figure out if they were really trying to breed? Have they done it again? Do you know what spurred them into that behavior?

i think they are a mature pair. I think if they were in the wild they would be breeding ..i got them a big house to get some privacy but they don't go into it yet.. Columbians as far as i know have never been bred in the home aquaria but these two are trying..haha:D

I've heard of them doing it once... but the owner had migrated them with the salt content of the water... from fresh to brackish to marine... then back over a period of a year...At least that's what I read don't know how true it was... this is the internet after all LOL

Thank you everyone.. they are wild but i have such a good time watching them.. they love to eat more then any other fish i own.. they race around for every morsel.. i appreciate all your sweet replies..:D
