Oh now I see:D Maybe its i that need glasses:grinno: But havent it molted in the past:confused: Its strange, he should be able to regenerate the fangs no prob in that. As for being bitten I think that as it apears your safe but here we aint so lucky, a single bite from our local species Scolopendra singulata(hope Im spelling rigth) can put a person in the hospital very easily. However I still recomend to be on the safe side;)

Yeah I read about that Turkish man who died. It must be emphasised, though, that he did not die from the bite itself, but rather a secondary infection of the bite. It's Scolopendra cingulata, by the way. :)

Back on topic: I've had the Red Leg for over 3 months and it has yet to moult.

That´s why I said "I hope Im spelling correctly";) But its odd that he doesant molt, in fact injurys tend to stimulate molting. Maybe its a old specimen. How often you feed him?

I've been feeding it too often. I haven't fed it for 3 or 4 days, and I won't feed it for another week or so, because I don't want to overfeed. Overfeeding increases metabolism and eventually, decreases lifespan.

Well maybe he just reached its full grown size and isnt able to molt again:confused: Possibly they can only molt a certain number of times
