sweet i really like the RTMs sweet fish. hope they breed for u...

I actually JUST introduced them together.... the female hides a lot! I have another pair that spawn regularly that are in their own tank.... a spawn waiting to hatch as we speak!

Long story behind that Midas..... I saw him at a LFS for 6 months but never bought it due to price! Then another member here bought it during a "blowout" sale and a few months later traded me for a Dovii..... strange chain of events!

your male trimac and beani are my favorite fish to look at.
i think i want more pictures of each!

It's a Jeff Rapps Trimac! A female...... I have a male also in the group but he's kinda stressed and dark (slightly smaller).

Good lookin' fish. That Midas looks like an old guy!

He does look old huh! His eyes appear slightly sunken in due to his face being so thick!

Love that Trimac. Are they a pair and have they bred ?

Still very young... no spawning yet. Just fished them out of the pond in my garage today!

Oh I am so jelous! I want a tank set up pretty much justlike this. I love the Zonatus and the Midas and the RTM and etc.... LOL Great pix!

Are you going to try to breed the motas? It's a nice male and all, I'm just not a huge fan of the crimped tail.

Any photos of the male grammodes? That's a nice looking female.

I'd rather they not spawn and dominate the tank but whatever happens, happens. I'm not a fan of crimped tails either, just tired of keeping isolated tanks so let things take their course. I do have a separate par of RTM's that spawn regularly that I keep in their own tank.

Thanks Japes, means a lot coming from you! .... Beani is about 1/3 the size in length. He'll hopefully catch up with being in the larger tank.
