if you cant get black worm ( which also is mosquito larvae ) try with the bloodworm. Go get some guppies. Lets try to make this guy survive!
if situation persist...how long this fellows can sustain:(

Chaka are ambush predators. Try leaf litter or some other hiding biotope. I have brought in many of them and they eat black worms and ghost shrimp readily if they are in a low stress environment. Have you tried target feeding them?

Actually my tank got no light...and i put 6 1" baby koi since the 1st day...now i think the fishes also become tankmate...one more think...is there any problem if i put the ropefish into the tank?

Depends how big the ropefish is. A 1'x1'x1' tank isnt really that big. Maybe wait till the Chaca gets settled in. The koi's will probably be fine for now, but later if this catfish gets hungry and aggressive, its possible he will kill/eat the Koi's.

Just try some different foods that were suggested, keep the lights off, its better with them off anyway because the fish is nocturnal I believe. Plus plants and hiding spots are good it helps them feel secure.

thx...juz added 20 small tiny guppys in tank...
will check d guppy quantity tonite...:)
hopefully this guy can start eating...days 6 already:(

Yeah, hes bound to have his instincts kick in. The fish may just not be settled in quite yet. Just throw the guppies in and try to not disturb the fish so it might geta chance to eat and feel secure in the tank. Its just crucial right now it eats.

how's it going?

guppies juz counted...quantity remain...which means this fellow didn't eat at all:(

Where ever you bought the fish, try asking what they were feeding it. I had to do this once when I brought a fish home and it wouldnt eat.

Also, when looking at the fish does it look skinny like its starving? Does the fish look generally healthy?
