My Channa marulis

Somebody told me that this one is called "Channa marulius var. salween", is there anybody here who could confirm it?

Forgot to tell that they are 'bout 10"/25cm.
I'll try to take some pictures tomorrow

i don't think those are salween, salween are (as far as i know) VERY RARE. Salween come from the border between Thailand and Burma

Channa Aurolineatus is a made up name (for a show I believe) for a common Thai Marulius.
The OP's Channa is a Thai Marulius.
