frozen food should be better. try feed them with market shrimp, chicken fillet, fish fillet. save cost n more healthy for ur fish. sometime live feeders carry diseases.

It's been awhile since i last posted here, well among the three left, the smallest died. The other two snakeheads considerably grew way faster than the other one until the other one just got too small/skinny and just died.

When it died it didn't have any of the diseases common to them, no symptoms of any sort of disease. Not really sure what happened there...

if it was still eating and getting skinny it sounds like worms , but saying that a lot of juvinile channa from the biggers sized fish seem to die for unknown reason , micros and pleuros are about the worst for it

lol, hi luda. how big are your SHs now? i also have a giant SH. For me they are way better than AROs or FH. mine's about 4-5". got him when he was 3"

It's nice to see that i'm not alone in MFK to have an SH.
what are the tank dimensions of your future tank?

Yes, giant snakeheads are illegal in the U.S., I don't think they're illegal here in the Philippines though.
