Whats happens to them?

Are fighting to die for a territory?

Are hungry, and try to eat it?

or, is ait a dominance fight between same sex?

There are 4 striatas (5 inches) in 300 lts

Remember when u asked if they tolerate each other in aquarium I replied

They'll tolerate each other until maturity the will turn on each other and either leave you a pair or a solo fish like just about any other channa

They have simply settled in and
Hit the point where they will either pair or fight down to one fish left

What are your plans for a future tank? 300lts is a 80 gallon tank and certainly not big enough for a full grown striata

its just the weak one who died. keep them together bro. make sure you feed them
seriously? That's terrible advice for genuinely solitary fish. I'm fairly certain DC has more knowledge on the subject of channa species. Don't give advice if you aren't experienced enough on the subject.

Backyard pond and aquariums are 2 VERY different settings!

Channa are notoriously territorial to say they won't attack unless hungry is ridiculous.

Before i put them in the pond. I kept them in aquarium a lot of channa wild caught. Only attack other fish. They also ignore all kinds of bichir. My group of channa striata at 4inch killed and eat 10 inch alligator gar because i didnt feed them for 2 days

Thanks for yours answers, no one die, I could save her, So, maybe have been hungry only, and that day she´s may feel restless....

Now, I'm thinking of a 500 liters.

Adamjavaguy, I would like to see the pictures of your straiata pond

DC, Do you think this species is more intolerant than others? are 500 litres
enough?
