Yes! This is true. I have some sword plants in with him now and he hasn't touched them. He doesn't seem to care at all!

I've read interesting things about their aggression. Some describe them as "hippy Oscars" -- unless someone messes with them. Then they can be as deadly as any fish in the hobby. I've heard at least one owner say Severums aren't a good tankmate due to their similar appearance.

I had problems with this guy being completely passive... To the point where my Nourisatti was beating on him and bit off a few scales. Most likely not too bad in some people's eyes, but it was enough for me to move him. He's in his own tank now.

He is gorgeous! One of the prettiest I have ever seen. How long have you had him?

I've had him about 8 months now. He was about 4" when I got him.
