It should continue to fade (fading is the process where it turns red) until it is even redder. Depending on the genes it could be various intensities.

I saw the blue behind the Red on the scales and thought it was a hybrid but didn’t know 100%

Looks like a hybrid, definitely not a full on Texas (carpintis or cyanoguttatus)
