you guys were right and one of the RD got traded in at my LFS and the other got moved to a new growout tank all by himself.. if i can get my hands on a big enough tank he will get his own if not hes being traded in at my LFS as well. as right now i have a 75 and a 55 and i think the 55 is going to be the lifelong home of my sev pair and the 75 will be either for my oscar or my RD.. havent decided who i like more yet hehe..

yeah the sevs are my favorites definately.. i wish i had a good enough cam to get some pics to really show the fish better they look much better in person.. do you guys think if the sevs breed i can keep the pair in the 75 with the oscar and keep the devils by themselves in two seperate 55s and if they are a pair breed them when i want.

My favorite Oscar is boss of his 8' 250 g tank. I put a male & female Severum in there thinking that even if they bred the Oscar would remain boss since it's clearly 'his' tank. Nope. Both Sevs alone were pushovers, but once they bred they tried ganging up on the Oscar. I immediantly took the Sevs out, it started getting rough pretty quick. I tried putting the 2 Sevs in a 75 g alone and he beat the fins off of her. So now they live in different tanks. Just because 2 fish breed together doesn't mean they'll be nice to each other
So while you can try it, it's a toss of the dice.
