Awesome vid...does your loaches always active like that or only with it feeding time? My loaches is so fat and big they do lazy to be active like that, only feed time.

They are particularly active, beg for food as I routinely feed in the evening. As I added more schools of active fish they became very hyper and bold.

Wow very nice! Super active. Aren't you afraid the eel will eat the barbs? I always wanted to add a alto comp to my setup but was worried about different water parameters.

The largest moray at 20" has such a small mouth, about the size to swallow a medium piece of FD krill. The barbs are 3". Not concerned at all. Maybe when the eels reach 30"+ it may be an issue, but they have never been fed food either.
