Thanks your tank looks Absolutely beautiful......the contrast between the Perch and the Sunfish (along with good aquascaping) really makes the tank. It looks like you have a Pumpkinseed Sunfish in with the Green, both Sunnies have alot of personality (or as mbeatrice put it attitude), and your Perch looks fantastic! I must warn you though ,Greens get to 12 inches (30 centimeters) and Pumpkinseed can get a little larger so you will definately end up having to get a bigger tank.

i can only agree with that, looking how he behaves in between those other fish is a real pleasure to see :p

very nice Perca fluviatilis, i have always wanted to keep natives like these and Esox lucius:drool:

nice pics :) >>> but u need background for ur tank its gonna be better ...

** to know how many liters in your tank >>>

( length * width * hight ) divide 1000 = .... liters

and gallon 1 gallon is 3.7854118 liters we can say 4 liters :)

and nice tank again

I had a yellow perca flav. but it refused to eat. Three weeks and I was about to give it live foods but it died. I've got to catch a younger one next time.

Nice setup! Best of luck as they grow.

American gallons or...the other gallon?

i caught the perch when it was very young, from a fishing pond which really had an overpopulation of perch! (the main reason why i could take it with me :p).

So they were a bit underfed, they ate straight away

PS. a worldwide measuring system that's the same everywhere... sounds like a dream :p
