What does a cichla have in common with koi?

Why do you keep them together? Koi are pond fish and cichla are not, Koi produce loads of waste while cichla do not… etc..

Different fish, different tanks..

if thats your way of organization then go for it but ive been successful with it. its prolly better to separate them but you dont have to in some cases.

pretty sweet idea but either get less fish or a bigger pond! im pretty leniant on overstocking but thats just ridiculous
