9 months ago, I went on 2 week vacation. I did not want Andi, my rbp, to starve so I dropped 15 feeders in his tank, a mix of rosy reds and goldfish. When I came back, the vast majority of the feeders were still alive.
I went back to feeding Andi his normal diet of salmon, catfish, scallops and silversides. From them on, he never bothered the feeders at all. 2 months ago, I added 4 platies and a betta. All fish are still accounted for.

One of the feeder goldfish has grown to a whopping 5 inches!

Current stock list:
2 rosy red minnows
5 common goldfish
1 betta
4 platies
1 rbp

What fish should I add next? Must be under $3 in case Andi's predatory instincts kick in one day.

Guppies or tetras. They can be pretty cheap. Those fish are so small next to that big one. Amazing!

I've had O's ignore schools of GD's and cory cats, you can get lucky...I've had others who'd pick the danios off in a day.

Wow, that really is pretty amazing. I can't believe it. What does he eat now then?
