OK, more pics it is. Making some more progress.
We restored the bridge over the stream.
I filled the pond up and realized that now the water level was too low in the marginal section, due to the extra concrete and steel mesh I added.

So yesterday I built a wall at the end of the marginal area, at a level (hopefully) just below the last damn on the stream. I had to do a quick lazer job of checking the level and I only had about three hours to build the wall, so hopefully it will all work out.

The next step is to coat the new wall with a clear acrylic sealer. It will help seal the concrete and also acts as a curing agent so I can fill the pond sooner.

The water hawthorne are loving being in the real pond again. My little shoots have already started sending out leaves and one is flowering. All in a week! I will try to get some pictures of the new flowers.

The weekend after next, my son will be with me again and we are going to go over to the far irrigation pond and hook up some bass to put in with the plants. By then I should have it filled up again.

The next thing will be to start transplanting the Iris into the marginal (bog) area.
Then I will hook up the pump intake and fire up the water falls and stream!
Oh, I am so looking forward to that!

Is the marginal/bog area filled w/gravel or plants in individual pots and plenty of water flowing arouund them?

The moss is the boss...
