my black male and pink female produces only black cons. but it is only their first batch so maybe some pink in the next batch
My Convict Pair - Marble X Stripes

I may only get the striped out of their spawn if he doesn't have the recessive gene, but all of their children will carry the marble gene. So ultimately, I MAY be able to get marbles if I breed mom back to one of her kids.
That is what I am hoping for. I do have a tank of larger SA/CA Cichlids that will relish having convict fry as a treat so if it doesn't work out, I won't be over run.
Just a quick update. We have wigglers! She moved them to a cave they dug, I guess it is a wait and see game now.
