Not for life but you could keep one in a 29 for a long time atleast a female a male would out grow a 29 in around a year if you got it young my little male is growin pretty we'll got it at 1'' and now after 2-3 months its right at 3''

hmm i would see whats on the check its self my parents would do the smae thing if i tried to open there mail but if its about you , you have the right to be curious and see what its about but i'm not supprised to hear they got mad just ask to see one of the checks

Thanks i'm on the fence of keepin it or getting rid of it we bonded since i raised it from so small but it has a nasty set of these blood red teeth and it doesn't like my four line catfish and it has been biteing it alot lately and really scraping it up but I still wan't to keep it

Females will have mood swings where they darken up and turn dark purpole almost black with drak bars the photo is when it was just comeing out of one of those moods really pretty cool it makes up for them not haveing as many spangles as the males i'll se if i can get a pic of this for you

ok thanks and my biggest is 2 inche and i see blue beard on here so im assuming its a female right now

yeah, my female is always a dark color. grayish/brown, withalmost blackish along the middle. blue spots on fin and face:
