Thanks, they have recently taken interest in a cave in the middle of tank, they will prolly drop a new cluctch of eggs soon, I need to get a pleco of some sort in there to eat some or all of the eggs

Here is a full shot of the 55:

The bonded pair have set up shop in the cave in the middle as you can see from the egg pics, the cave measures about 10" wide, and goes about 7" deep, the mouth being about 6" tall at its highest point.

Thet defend everything from the left of the right filter intake, so the smaller female chills by the airstone and generally tries to go unnoticed.

The female hasn't left the cave other than to grab a pellet or two during feedings. The male cruises around the left 2/3 of the tank.

I am looking for the perfect piece of large driftwood to go from the right of the cave up and sprawling across the middle of the tank to the left side. No such luck as of yet
