thats my free stand that will have a longer piece of wood on top, and a few people that have constuction business said it would hold? Ill probally make a nicer one though
support that extra piece of "wood" well. A lot of construction companies have no clue about fish tanks as some might suspect...

so im looking at what heaters to buy for the 180gallon, and im stuck between mutliple stealth heaters or and inline heater. but when looking at the inlet/outlets are all clear tubing adapters along with my uv sterilizer. So im wanting to hardplumb the canisters with pvc but im not sure as how to incorporate the uv and the heaters if i can not use the pvc. should i just use the bulkheads with the barb adapters and using clear tubing? are there any bennifits/realiablity with pvc vs clear tubing

do you guys think that the holes in this strainer are to small for and intake?

:iagree: Most hammer swingers couldn't tell you how much a gallon of water weighs. Without knowing that, they can't estimate the weight of a tank. They would be going off of a hunch, which doesn't really help you. Even if you talked to the GC, you would want to know if he is a Civil Engineer or if he just moved up through the construction ranks.
