Females have white stripe through the dorsal fin, should be right under the black one.

Could it be that the lent without the face marking could be the female or vice versa? Only a observation.

I'm a little rusty with my crenicichla IDing but the one that lacks the freckling looks a lot to me like a c. marmorata.

I think Lents are the closest pike cichlid to marmoratas you can get without paying marmorata price.

I'm kinda new to pikes, especially the not to common ones.
