My current tank setup....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks....Some people may say I have the tank overfiltered, but with rays, the rule of thumb is you can never have enough. Currently, theres 2 AC500's, an eheim 2217 in addition to a converted 29 gallon tank wet dry. Even with that amount of fish in there, water changes are done once every 2 weeks as the levels do pretty much stay stable. I do clean the filters in staggered fashion once a month.

Nice!!.... Those flowers really turned up great . I remember when i went by you they were both "blonde". Great lookin tank!! Dont worry, nobodys gonna say your tank looks crowded here. I hate it when people say that. . .

Leos are top notch...

Paroons are bangin.. (theyve grown a lot!.. remember they used to be in the small 30 g swimming like retards in a corner. LOL)

Wow!! I honestly love it ! The river rocks look nice too.. where did you get those??

P.S Cant believe your water stays stable considering the amount of livestock and size of the tank. I have crazy filtration myself ( 2 fluval 404, 1 w/d rated for 150G + uv) but i do water twice a week or water quality goes to the dumps

Thanks Wes...Those flowers shaved a few years off my life, hahaha...they didn't start eating until their heads were caved in and their tail girdles were like spikes :(. But once they started, they were unstoppable.

Those paroons are monsters..they just eat like there's no tomorrow. I also had pangasius conchophilus that started out smaller than the paroons that outgrew the paroons by a good 2" before I got rid of them. Those were unbelievable when it came to eating...moreso than the paroons.

I got the river rocks from a local pet store...They may look nice, but the leos slamming them around all night doesn't really allow for a good night's sleep, haha.

Surprisingly enough, my water parameters are great as long as the ph stays stable for a good 2 weeks. I guess that's the difference between your Jersey water and my New Yawk water :P, haha.

Deathcurl,

If you don't keep that 6" motoro... I'll take it off your hands... you know if its a male or female?

Out of all those amazing fish you said I like the river stones alot. He thought it was a joke. If you think about it that way it was pretty funny. Anywho

That tank is amazing. All those fish and that water is CLEAR. Nice job.
