My Dad almost DIED yesterday

wow Bruce i have not been on MFK except for moments here and there and then i took the time out to look around and so sorry to find your Dad going through this again..thank god he was able to get back into the hospital in time... i pray Bruce that things will turn positive for you..enough is enough!!

I know what you're going through My mom had some problems about 2 years ago and she got to the point that she almost bled to death. (let's just say i'm not going into detail) she was so bad that when she went to the doctor had som tests done went home and about two hours later she got a call saying they wanted her to go back in. She being the suburn person she is didn't want to till we made her go. Only to find out when we got there that her doctor and a nurse were getting ready to come out to my house and get her b/c they said if she wouldn't have come in she more then likly would have died in her sleep that night. Now the part that pisses me off about the hospital. I am the universal donor. and she needed a blood transfusion. I told the nurse that I could give so they didn't have to wait to get the blod they needed. She looked at me and said OH we are not capable of doing that are facilites are not setup for it. So around a week later and 2 surgeries she got to come home.

Then I had to babysit her (that's so not fun) But I did get out of taking care of her when she's old lol my sister didn't help with this so I told her when moms old and can't whipe herself that's when she gets to take care of her I have allready put in my time lol


So moral of the story take care of your dad he'll be fine. And I hope you have a sibling that's going to have to take care of him when he's realy realy old lol


don't worry about it as long as he's still around be happy
