Quick update:
I added some #30/40 garnet sand and river rocks. The sand looks pretty purple instead of the usual red. I actually like it. I also added 1 more goonch from Mike over at Jurassic Aquatics. I highly recommend him guys! Not my first time working with him and he also threw in his last 5 tors for free.
The new guy. He has a weird left eye but I like it. Like Mike said, it's like 2 different goonches now.
Here's the 4. 1st pic is 3 and the 2nd is the 4th.
Pickin up a new guy tomorrow for anyone still following. No idea what kind he is though. It's definitely a Thai but doesn't look ruti to me. My guy says its bagarius bagarius which, back in the day, we all believed to be the true dwarf. Here's a couple head shots of it.
Nice to see all is well with ur goonch party lookin good ... i think ur new guy being held in those pics is a Bagarius Suchus... Havent seen a suchus available in a few yrs now. They tend to be more slender/flat like that.

It could be a suchus but I highly doubt it is. I think it just looks super flat cuz it's small but it doesn't look any flatter than my smaller rutilus which are about 4-6" and this new guy should be around 6". I guess I'll find out today when I go to pick it up
Update: I ended up not gettin the goonch cuz something came up and we weren't able to meet up. Then a few days later, 1 of the goonches died, so i decided to sell the others. I'm done with goonches for now because I have been extremely busy and haven't really had time to care for them. I will again 1 day. Not sure when though.
Thanks man. I'm just gonna wait till later on when I'm not soo busy and set up a drip system on all the tanks. That way I don't have to worry about wc's cuz that's definitely what made keeping any of my tanks such a pain. My snakes are so much easier. I just mist, feed and spot clean once a week and top off their water everyday. Takes about 20 min total for the entire week.
Thanks to Rob's amazing new Goonch writeup, I must update my thread which I completely forgot about. Oops.
So not very many people know but I acquired a suchus from my good friend. I have had it for about 1-1/2 months now and I believe I figured out what has been going on in my tanks. There was most likely some sort of parasite that water changes and meds could not rid of and, I have no idea why I didn't think of it before, but I hooked up a uv sterilizer. All of my fish have been doing much better because of this and my goonch has not died! So here he is! The new suchus!
