That looks like a nandus nandus you have in there also,cool little fish,looks good with dats but mine hardly ever moves.LOL dont treat your pleco as a vacuum cleaner its not their job to clean the bottom,what are you putting in there that is falling to the bottom?christ4paul;2380271; said:

whats a good number for a group of dats. i rarely get to see them because they are always hiding.
The hiding gets annoying but after a while they venture out.I have one of each except for the IT of which I have two,no ST,and they range from three to five inches in length.
whenever i tried to feed them they run hiding. i made a hiding space for them using a driftwood, the space is kinda small but all 4 of them are packed in there. its funny how sometimes one or two gets stuck underneath. i have to lift and driftwood to let them free occasionally. maybe i should make the space a bit larger for them.
