Feeders can pass on disease. Better to get them on prepared foods right off the bat.

not to mention, unless theyre gut loaded feeders, they dont provide much nutrition to the dat at all. theyre mostly skin and bones.

I quarantine my feeders (2 weeks) and feed/stuff them first with pellets (pellets that my dats dont like but high in nutrients that they need) before giving it to my dats

Mine feed on Futian freeze dried shrimp and Hikari sticks. They straight murder the stuff. Pellet training all stock is the way to go. They don't eat, they starve.......then eventually eat and start begging for it.

At present he will only touch dead bloodworm. tried with prawns white bait worms and a pellet he runs away from.
he is about 4 inches at present
