i justy bought a gold tiger dat are these common or rare how big do they get and does anyone have pics of larger ones and will the get along with my south american and flower horns in my 125g

"Gold tiger dat" could refer to one of three species of Datnioides: 1) widebar (D. pulcher), 2) thinbar (D. undecimradiatus), or 3) Indonesian (D. microlepis). It's an outdated common name that harkens back to the day when there were only two available species of Datnioides: 1) gold dats (D. microlepis) and 2) silver dats (D. quadrifasciatus -- now D. polota) (NGTs/D. campbelli weren't commercially available until recent years). In the mid to late 1990s, two additional species of "gold" dats were described: 1) D. pulcher and 2) D. undecimradiatus. What was originally known as D. microlepis was split into D. microlepis (Indonesian) and D. pulcher (Chao Phraya and Mekong river basins).
My guess is that yours are likely either Indos or thinbars. Widebars are very difficult to come by as of late.
