i just got my datnoid today and its been not eating the entire day. i gave it bloodworm, market shrimp, pellets, doesnt eat any of those. what can i do?
my datnoid isnt eating. help~

haha. sorry im just not used to it ive been having fishes that has big appetite that eats 3-4 times a day. so its a but awkward for me.
Its still adjusting, this is normal for fish. It takes a few days atleast for the fish to start eating. In some cases fish might start eating after one day.
hmm. ok. its in there with my frontosa's right now. and they also have been eating over a week. ill try to throw in sinking or floating pellets and leave it there for 24 hr see if theres any progress.
I wouldnt do it. If the food goes uneaten, its just gonna produce ammonia. Seriously, nothing is wrong with the fish nothing is gonna happen to it. Its adjusting to its suroundings, and the last thing on its mind is to eat. It WILL eat as soon as its adjusted, which takes a few days usually.

Definately don't leave food in the tank for 24 hrs. Will pollute your water.
