my datnoid isnt eating. help~

your new tiger will not eat pellets from the start it can take ages to get ANY tiger to eat pellets

if you fontosa are also not eatting then you may have something else wrong test your water
 
thanks for all the help. im still new to datnoids after cichlids. so ive been really bumped out thinking they were gonna die. hahah. well they are doing fine right now. i got a thinbar so my It wouldnt be so bored. they are always together like cream on cake. looks great.
 
I think I've had only 1 Dat eat the same day as it was introduced into my tank. Completely normal.
 
i had a 5 of my IT's eating the first day...i used feeder con's for 5 days and changed them over to silversides.
but yeah....just wait wait a couple days your little one will come around.
 
they are both stable but very lazy and rarely move. they are like my leaf fishes. lol.
 
Yea same here, there still small thought the bigger they get the more gutsy they get so give it time may take a few weeks to see them fully active
 
Like everyone else said, nothing to worry about. They can go quite a bit without eating. ;)
 
ok. yea ive never had these before so its just so weird to me.
 
not too much though. they eat the left overs that my leafs and frontosa ate. its really hard to maintain their diet. when they arent eating too much.
