After looking through so many threads and spending so much time on MFK, also viewing some new fishkeepers still getting the hang of the hobby and realizing advice i give to them is almost hypocritical sometimes, I've decided I'm probably going to end up only getting a 75 to go with my 55, so I'm going to try to keep as many of my current fish as possible and then avoid looking at fish at LFS's to keep myself from impulse buying.
Right now I have a few juvies (who am i kidding a LOT) in my 55 and I'm splitting them between 29, 55 and what I'm probably going to end up with, a 75 instead of the planned 125.
Current 55:
Texas (cyano)
JD
Severum
2x Convicts
Sveni
Bellycrawler
2x Eclipse cats
Fourline Pim
Senegal
I'm thinking I'll Give the mild mannered Texas the 75 since he has a better chance of being bigger then the JD.
Preposed stock of the tanks:
75
Texas
Severum
2 Eclipse Cats
1 Yellow Bullhead (keeping one of the guys cause i like them so much)
55
JD
Sveni
Fourline Pim
2x Senegals
29
Convicts
Bellycrawler
I'm Confident with my slightly aggressive Severum and my Mild mannered Texas that they should get along in the 75, and the cats should be the only stretch for stocking.
The 55 is going to pretty much be the JD's but i think he won't mind sharing it a little with the Sveni. Again the cat might be the only stretch, but the guy is around 5" and still isnt' all that active unless he's feeding, then he goes a little crazy.
In the 29 the convicts will probably breed, they are convicts and a pair after all, but the Bellycrawler has to be one of the toughest fish I've seen in person, not incredibly aggressive but just doesn't back down, and He's taken out half a shoal of convict fry before, I'm sure he can limit all the babies without taking too much damage, might even stop them from breeding.
Am i overstepping stocking and being hypocritical or am i starting to practice what i preach?

I finally ready for more in the next few weeks, good luck.
