square tanks are tricky. What fish species would you recommend for a square tank of =that size?

I agree with krismo. Just get tanks set up fully, and then get your fish. Don't just jump at a pair of fish before you have a suitable tank. Things happen that you don't expect. Just focus on tanks and filters etc.

I would try selling your equipment via Facebook marketplace or here, store credits are a scam. And just shop what the LFS have in Portugal, let the chips fall where they may!!! Stop trying to control the situation and enjoy the new experience, it’ll make you a better hobbyist!
